Stocks on the Chinese mainland ended the day strong Friday, with the Shanghai Composite Index up 3.20% at 3090.76.

The Shenzhen Component Index closed up 3.77% at 9906.86, while Shenzhen’s Nasdaq-style ChiNext board closed up 4.10% at 1693.55.

Liquor giant Kweichow Moutai closed today at a record high.
