World Largest Small Commodity Hub Hits Pause for Covid Control

What’s new: Yiwu, the world's largest small commodity wholesale market in eastern China’s Zhejiang province, hit the pause button to control a Covid flare-up after finding 500 cases.

The city of 1.86 million will enter “static management” Thursday to Saturday to slow the outbreak, restricting residents’ movements while closing all nonessential public services.
