China’s industrial output growth slowed in April and missed market forecasts as mining and manufacturing activity weakened despite resilient exports.
Value-added industrial output rose 4.1% from a year earlier, slowing 1.6 percentage points from March, according to data released Monday by the National Bureau of Statistics. That missed the 5.8% average forecast in a Caixin survey of economists.
