China July Power Output Increases 4.2%

This is the second straight month that power output recorded positive growth after monthly year-on-year declines since October last year when demand dropped in the wake of the economic downturn.

The growth in July's power output was driven by a sustained recovery in the economy, an energy analyst told Cajing on Aug. 5.
