Another official is under investigation.

The deputy governor of Jiangsu, Miao Ruilin, is being investigated for suspected violations by party anti-corruption regulators, the Central Commission of Discipline Inspection announced on Thursday.

Miao joined the Communist Party in 1984. He has also served as the governor of Nanjing city.
