    China launched the Shenzhou-12 spacecraft into orbit at 9:22 a.m. Thursday from the Jiuquan Satellite Launch Center in the Gobi Desert in northern China.     Ceramist Qu Hanlin opened his first solo exhibition, ‘Unrestrained · Maverick,’ after 15 years of preparation in Jingdezhen, East China’s Jiangxi province, in October 2020. Qu moved to Jingdezhen, famous for its white porcelain, to master his pottery-making skills after graduating from the Central Academy of Fine Arts in Beijing.
